The plant behind the resin: capacity, product range, certifications and export markets.
Company
Inner Mongolia Sanlian Chemical Group Co., Ltd. is a chlor-alkali producer in the Jinshan Development Zone of Hohhot, Inner Mongolia. It is listed among China’s top 500 chemical enterprises and ninth in the country’s chlor-alkali industry.
The group operates an integrated chlor-alkali complex: caustic soda, calcium carbide, liquid chlorine, trichloroethylene and hydrochloric acid alongside the PVC resin line. The resin is sold under the “Sanlian” brand through a domestic distribution network, and it is exported to South-East Asia, Africa and other markets.
The PVC process and the ion-membrane caustic soda technology are both operated at what the company describes as a leading level within China’s industry. The plant has held ISO 9001 quality management certification and occupational health management certification.

Common questions
How do I choose between SG5 and SG3?
SG5 sits in the 118-107 ml/g viscosity band and is the grade used for transparent products, rigid pipe, profiles and window frames. SG3 sits in the 136-127 ml/g band and is the general soft-goods grade used for agricultural film, irrigation hose, artificial leather and footwear. If your product is soft and clear you want the lower band; if it is rigid, or it is clear and you want surface quality, you want SG5.
What is the difference between premium, first grade and qualified?
They are grade levels within the same grade number, and the difference shows up in the impurity count and the fish eye figure. Premium holds 16 impurity particles and 20 fish eyes per 400 cm², first grade holds 30 and 40, and qualified holds 90 impurity particles. SG7 and SG8 are measured slightly differently: 20 and 30 for premium, 40 and 50 for first grade.
What does the residual vinyl chloride figure mean for my order?
It is the trapped monomer left in the resin and it is the number buyers and regulators check first, because it is a health limit and a standard entry criterion for plastics and food-contact applications. Our published figures are 8 mg/g for premium and 10 mg/g for first grade, and we quote the figure for the grade level you order.
Do you supply paste resin (E-PVC)?
The grades we publish are the suspension grades SG1 to SG8. Paste resin is a different product with its own particle morphology, and we do not list it in this catalogue. Tell us what you need and we will confirm what we can supply.
How much do you normally ship and what is the minimum order?
Both depend on the grade and the destination, and we confirm them in the quotation rather than publishing a fixed figure. A full container is the usual starting point for an export order; send us the quantity and the port and we will come back with the loading plan.
Can you provide a certificate of analysis for each shipment?
Yes. The certificate of analysis covers the grade, the grade level and the published indicators for the batch. Ask for it when you place the order and it goes out with the shipping documents.
What are your payment terms and Incoterms?
The common arrangements are T/T with a deposit and the balance before shipment, or L/C at sight, quoted on FOB, CFR, CIF, EXW or DDP depending on the destination and the delivery point. The exact terms are stated in the quotation.
How long does production and delivery take?
Lead time depends on the grade, the quantity and the current production schedule, so we confirm it with the quotation rather than publishing a fixed number. Include your required delivery date and port in your enquiry and we will check it against the schedule.
